Badlands

Badlands is a streetpunk band from the Netherlands and and released 4 succesfull albums.

Singer/songwriter Viktor Nefkens is regarded as one of the most talented songwriters and singers in the scene.  In his early youth he started to play music on his acoustic guitar. Inspired by different bands like The beltones, Social Distortion and Johnny Cash, Nefkens started to write his own songs in 1999. Record Label "Rebellion Records Holland"  would release the songs that Nefkens wrote.

The first album of Badlands was "False Gestures" which is a mixture of hard-hitting rock 'n' roll and beautifull acoustic songs. After the amazing succes of this first album, more recordings followed: 'Hands of Time', 'When angels are crucified' and 'The Killing Kind'.

In 2013 Badlands will be back after 5 years with new recordings and some live shows all over Europe!
